Return Policy

If you would like to return an item or need our return address, please contact our customer service team at contact@skeenacouture.ca. You can also write to us through our contact page. Last updated: October 2026.

Your Right to Return

As a consumer, you have 14 days to return your item, counted from the day you receive it. You do not need to give a reason, and we charge no fee for exercising this right. This policy applies in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (British Columbia).

To make a return, simply let us know before the 14-day window ends, for example by emailing contact@skeenacouture.ca. A short note telling us which item you are returning is all we need; there is no form to fill out.

Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to send the item back to the return address we provide.

Cancelling an Order

Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of being placed. After that, your order moves automatically to our packing team and can no longer be cancelled. This does not affect your 14-day right to return the item once it arrives.

Condition of Returned Items

Items must be returned in the same condition and quantity in which you received them: unused, unwashed and in their original condition. You are responsible only for any loss in value caused by handling that goes beyond what is needed to check the nature, characteristics and fit of the item, much as you would when trying something on in our boutique.

Refunds

When you return an item, we will refund everything you paid for it, including any original shipping charges, within 14 days of receiving your return notice.

We may hold the refund until we have received the item back, or until you have provided proof that you have shipped it, whichever comes first.

Refunds are issued to the same payment method you used for your purchase, unless we agree otherwise with you. There is no fee for the refund.

Return Shipping Costs

You are responsible for the direct cost of shipping the item back to us. We recommend a tracked service, such as Canada Post, so you have proof of shipment.

Size Guide

To help you choose with confidence, you will find a detailed size guide on every product page. We recommend reviewing it before you order. If the size is not quite right, your 14-day right to return still applies, of course.

Exceptions to the Right to Return

The right to return does not apply to the following items:

Items made to your specifications or clearly personalized for you, such as made-to-measure pieces.
Sealed items that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken.

Warranty Claims

If an item is defective, it is covered by our 2-year warranty against defects. Where a claim is justified, you are entitled to a repair, a replacement, a partial refund or a full refund of the purchase price. Please contact us as soon as you notice the issue. This warranty does not limit your rights under the laws of British Columbia and Canada.
